Do publishers frown on writers who cross genres and audiences? How do you write successfully for new parents, young kids, and middle grade readers? What considerations need to be made for different age groups? Join author Caryn Rivadeneira (writer of board books, picture books, chapter books, and books for grown-ups) and find out!

Caryn Rivadeneira is the author of eleven books — for both children and adults, not including the forthcoming Helper Hounds series (Red Chair Press). Besides, the Helper Hounds, Caryn’s most recent titles includes Gritty and Graceful: 15 Inspiring Women of the Bible (Beaming Books). Caryn serves on staff at Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church and is a proud member of INK: A Creative Collective and the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. Caryn lives in the near-west suburbs of Chicago with her husband, three kids, and one rescued pit bull.
