Paolino, Charles: - Charles Paolino is managing editor at RENEW International. He is a permanent deacon of the Diocese of Metuchen, New Jersey, ministering in liturgy, preaching, and adult education at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station. He also is a columnist for The Catholic Spirit, the newspaper and website of the Diocese of Metuchen, and a freelance theater critic. He is the author of three books in The Living Gospel series.

Paolino spent forty-three years in newspaper journalism and more than thirty years as an adjunct instructor of English at various universities and colleges, including Seton Hall and Rutgers. He earned a bachelor's degree in communications from Seton Hall and a master's degree in journalism from Penn State. He and his wife, Patricia Ann, live in Whitehouse Station. They have four grown children and five grandchildren.
